Some things that need to be done to ensure a successful gaining phase👇

✅ Focus on getting as strong as possible - Get very strong on all your main lifts, absolutely rinse them and then swap them out for a new movement and repeat✌️

✅ Spend as little time as possible in a deficit - don’t mini cut every 8 weeks cause you’ve gained a little fat🤦‍♂️

✅ Set yourself lifting goals - it can be hard to stay motivated in a long gaining phase as there’s no real end goal, so set yourself some strength targets to work towards 🎯

✅ Push body weight up to levels that you’re not really comfortable with 🐷

✅ Don’t attempt stupid lifts and get yourself injured🤦‍♂️ the objective should always to be to lift as heavy as you can, but with good execution👀

✅ Don’t underestimate the importance of sleep and recovery 🛏 you can feel equally as battered during a gaining phase as when you are dieting. This is because you can handle more volume and, more often than not, will be moving greater loads when in a gaining phase comparative to a diet. So this can leave you feeling very fatigued if you’re not managing recovery variables properly🔑
