PENNE POMODORO .
INGREDIENTS 
Penne pasta - 1 cup
Tomatoes - 4 ( skin and seeds removed and puréed)
Fresh basil - 1-2 leaves 
Garlic, finely chopped - 1 tsp
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Salt and pepper - as required .
METHOD
1. Boil penne pasta with salt and a dash of olive oil, drain water after the pasta is soft and keep aside 
2. Heat a pan , add olive oil,garlic and sauté . Add tomatoes and cook the sauce on medium heat till all the water is evaporated and the sauce is thick 
3. Add the seasoning 
4. Add boiled pasta and a dash of olive oil on top
5. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and basil leaves

Lately I’ve been loving the deconstructed look in food photos. Dishes aren’t supposed to look too perfect, they’re supposed to look well loved and as scrumptious as they are in real life!

Lately I’ve been loving the deconstructed look in food photos. Crumbs from a recently enjoyed muffin, lipstick stains on a coffee mug, and food that looks like it was authentically enjoyed fits my fancy these days. Dishes aren’t supposed to look too perfect, they’re supposed to look well loved and as scrumptious as they are in real life!

Si tratta di una crema di #olive taggiasche, #capperi ed #acciughe.

Ideale per essere spalmata su crostini di pane tostati ma ottima anche nella #pasta.
L'azienda Sommariva e' stata una delle prime aziende italiane ad aver avuto la certificazione #bio nel 1972.
Se fate un salto ad #albenga andate al #museolaciviltadell'olivo dove sono esposti al pubblico la collezione di oggetti del passato, ingresso libero.

Happy Sunday, this week was my dad's 70th birthday, this is the cake I made for him. It's amazing how fast time flies, and that number seems so big on my dad. It just reminds me to turn off my phone and social media and look deeply into the faces of the ones I love. Time passes quickly and not everyone will be around forever. I need to be present for those I love. " Attention is the rarest purest form of generosity" -Weil

* Kohlrabi and snap peas.
* Turbot and tea.
* Cochinillo enmolada.
* Cow and her milk.

💠DESSERTS:
* Fresas con nata.
* “Tropic”.
* Cheesecake bomb.
* Mochi.
* Xuixo.

The snap peas had sooo much flavor, it’s really hard to imagine, just outstanding!

And then there is the turbot... just wow! The turbot “ribs” were probably the dish of the night for us, perfect in flavor and texture!

We loved the desserts, all of them! But if we had to pick one, it’s the Mochi!

The ensaimada was the big surprise for us, TGJ husband is from Mallorca, where they make ensaimadas, so we know something about ensaimadas, but this one was fantastic!

The chicken skin and liver mousse was 🔥! A ton of flavor and a nice balance of sweet and salty. The pizza completely surprises you with its light texture!

Labor didn’t happen last night so I wanted this morning to be filled with positive vibes. That calls for snuggles with the hubby, Sunday morning music and homemade chocolate chip pancakes. -

CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES
• 2 cups all purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1/3 cup melted butter
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 1 to 1 1/2 cups water (depending on desired consistency)
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• chocolate chips as desired

Directions: Combine all the ingredients and allow mix to set and thicken. Heat skillet to (5) heat. Fry in butter or cooking oil. Serve with bananas and chocolate syrup.

Plucking and eating from your own garden gives so much delight and satisfaction ❤️ We have a small area in the garden where dad has planted a few chillies, palntains and ridgegourd. I feel so elated whenever i see any new flower blooming and vegetable growing. •

A traditional style of making Potato and Peas Pulao with few spices but with loads of flavors ideal to be served with any curry.

Tehri is a part of Awadhi cuisine where rice is cooked with selected vegetables and few spices with turmeric being the dominant spice which also contributes to its rich saffron hue. There isn’t much difference in a vegetable pulao and Tehri as both look similar, but it is the traditional technique of preparing the dish that makes it a unique rice dish and different from a usual Vegetable Pulao.

Grilled Peach Cobbler fresh out of the oven! The peaches were grilled then we refrigerated leftovers overnight. Sauteed briefly with some sugar then went into the oven with the batter. Raw sugar and cinnamon sprinkled on generously 5 minutes before the baking finished really gave this a lovely scald! The recipe will be on the blog by Monday. Click the link in my bio 😋🍑🍑🍑
