The Hive is an immersive sight and sound experience triggered by real bee activities.
The Hive is the work of English artist Wolfgang Buttress. Buttress created the 55-foot installation to resemble the structure of a beehive. The artist programmed 1,000 LED lights on The Hive to react to signals picked up from vibration sensors placed in a real beehive. The Hive would also play sounds composed of bee sounds and music created by human.
The Hive is located in @kewgardens in London. The aluminum structure sits in the center of the park surrounded by wildflowers.
