Looking at ourselves in an honest way, can be challenging, even frightening. That is why many people avoid it.They prefer to distract themselves from themselves. At the moment the distractions are reduced for many of us. Some are alone with themselves. Interesting things are happening there. It can be a kind of journey to your deeper self. But looking inwards the deep way may cause fear or panic and that is OK, normal, understandable. Btw: did you know that most panic attacks come from undigested childhood experiences/traumas, unhealthy patterns or tough things that happened to us later in life (mostly it is a cobination). A physical component is also discusssed though ( lack of certain nutrients, chemistry change in the brain). Now, certain sitiuations, like this one here the moment, may trigger panic attacks or feelings of uncertainty, helplessness. We sooo much want to believe that everything around us is stable. But it is not. That is a fact. Everything else is just an illusion. The more you realize your own fears and problems, the more you face them, admit them to yourself honestly and the more you go through them- also endure them-, the more you can get beyond them. Looking at the origin, the cause is the worst part and not all of us are capable of that. That is also OK. Just do as much as you can bear and if it is getting too much, stop and distract yourself or call somebody. Sometines we cannot face this alone. But the good message is: Situations like this are the perfect chance to get to know yourself better, to overcome certain unhealthy, neurotic patterns, behaviours, believes that may hinder you in life.
