❤️from my read. Don't fall into the trap of happiness Destination Addiction’. This addiction is a major block to success. People who suffer from Destination Addiction believe that success is a destination. They are addicted to the idea that the future is where success is, happiness is, and heaven is. Each passing moment is merely a ticket to get to the future. They live in the ‘not now’, they are psychologically absent, looking and searching constantly for this destination- Mark d Griffith’s
Understand that when the mind is habitually distracted by thoughts, constantly getting lost in a vast sea of things, ideas, future concepts, and memories, you forget the real reason why you're here. The core of who you are is forgotten, while you struggle and try to fill the void. The experience of being so present is lost, because our mind is moving in all kinds of directions.
Our society makes you believe that being "busy" is equal to being successful.🔥
The mind has been programmed to endlessly search, seek, and chase happiness in the outer world to obtain outer success and end up with inner emptiness. The constant search will never satisfy you and can only bring exhaustion.
It's like we believe that we have to constantly be on the go, or else we're not doing anything with our lives. We also compare how busy others are to how much we’re not doing. Busy doesn’t always mean productivity. You have to start being more mindful and present so you can actually start creating your life, which you can only do, in the present moment.
So happiness is not outward and it’s not in next destination. Don’t think you will be happier once you change your location, job, business, partner etc. If you don’t change inwardly nothing will change. Think about how you can be the change where you are . Maybe that’s where your treasure and opportunities lie if you looked deeply beyond immediate gratification.🎁 . Thoughts ?? Counting down to 25th January FREE Workshop in London Sofitel .
