Revolution Skincare Superfruit Extract.
Aims to: Help replenish skins moisture, whilst also priming the surface. The added antioxidants fight external aggressors to support the skins barrier.
I’ve read a lot of reviews in favour of this product it was highly recommended on many skincare review sights so of course I had to pick it up.
So what do I think?
Upon receiving it I had high hopes, the packing was super cute & holographic & the smell was amazing. I can only compare it to the body shops vanilla pumpkin hand cream.
The product is full of shimmery sparkles and goes onto the face very silkily. Two drops were more than enough so I’d definitely say you get your moneys worth.
Originally I tried this as a skin food rather than a primer underneath makeup & I wasn’t too impressed with the effect it had on my skin. For me the product was too scented & too strong which resulted in a bit of a flare up.
I then took the dose down & decided to use it as a primer underneath makeup after applying my full under layer of moisturiser.
As far as it goes as a primer i’d highly recommend it, just be sure to let it sit before applying makeup.
As a skin superfood i’m gonna have to give it a thumbs down. I feel like there’s too much going on in this bottle that it disrupted my skin rather than supported it. My skin is combination and sensitive on the cheeks & the flare up was rather noticeable to me.
Star rating: ⭐️⭐️2/5
If you have to try it for yourself go ahead, perhaps it will work for you. Don’t let me put you off, this is just how it was for me.
Good for priming, not so good for supporting my skin.
