It’s a new year and it’s a new you. Because you’re learned and hurt and accepted things, but the biggest thing that’s changed is your perspective. Because free falling is a lot like floating. Be like sky, that brings rainbows, but thunders too. It’s all in how you want to view it.
You have experienced the worst things in this life, yet you are here-alive and moving forward. People have always said it’s hard journey and I will agree with them. Sometimes you are left with unanswered questions. You’re praying and asking the almighty for physical and internal healing. You’re here reminiscing over memories, both good and bad. Over and over, the pain keeps pounding on your fragile souls because at the end of everything, you truly gave your all. However let us not forget that every painful experience, every single blow that has been forced upon our soul, has brought us to this exact time.
After all the pain and suffering, you will look into that mirror and begin to see so many beautiful things. You will enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. On that day, I hope you look back as I have- and realize that you did your best. You weren’t perfect, but damn close it. Love yourself and remember: you are the priority.
