Our happy little homeschool this chilly Monday morning. Clearly we are super organized and focused on scholastics. This family time is so sweet and special. They are bonding deeply with each other in between school work. It makes my mama heart swell watching them play together. .
Of course, often it’s complete mayhem when we’re doing math drills with Big Sis, nursing Little Bits and B is getting into the markers in a way that only a 2 year old can. .
So it’s been awhile since I’ve updated here... ummm... let’s see. So I had a baby.... recovered from a third c-section. Potty trained my two year old. Began my postpartum fitness recovery. Had family visiting over the holidays for several months... um... I think that’s it.
Welcoming this sweet little girl had been incredible and it’s also been stressful with all the other plates I have spinning in the air. Even though I’ve had more help than I’ve ever had with my other births (thank you to my church helping with meals and my mother in law and my mom keeping us from drowning in a pile of dirty dishes and unmatched socks) I’ve had a lot of anxiety this time around. And I just don’t have a lot of time to deal with that between piano and soccer and ballet and peanut butter sandwiches and pediatrician appointments. .
As I’m typing this caption I’m getting the baby to sleep and I just heard the 5 year old whisper “let’s go jump on mama’s bed.” So it’s back into the fray for me. I hope you’re off to a good start this week! .
