When I was playing ball in college, my performance coach told me “everything you eat should have a purpose.” Clearly, I stopped following that advice after baseball 😅, but that saying couldn’t be more accurate.
Here’s a typical dinner for me, high protein mixed with good carbs.
Tonight’s Dinner 🍽
Ground beef burrito and garlic red potatoes tonight:
Beef burrito 🌯
Ground Beef - 200 cal, 31.5g protein, 6g fat
1/4 Cup Cheese - 110 cal
2 Tbsp. Salsa - 15 cal
Taco seasoning - 20 cal
Tortilla - 130 cal , 20g carb
Garlic Red Potatoes (8 oz)
- ~240 cal, 52g carbs, 6g protein .
Comes out to be around 715 calories. I don’t usually geek out on my macros, but just giving you an idea of how eating mainly Whole Foods actually isn’t that many calories and will end up making you feel fuller AND... Eating healthy food tastes amazing when you cook it with good spices and seasonings!😃👍🏻
