We are trying to find away to accept the reality of what happen yesterday. It has made a huge impact on my heart and is bringing me closer to God. This tragic accident has taken the lives of 9 people who’s families are dealing with their loss. We need to join together in accord and pray for them and their families. We need to pray for grace, comfort, and peace during this time of deep heartache and pain. We need to ask God to guard them and show them mercy as they figure out how to take the next step in their lives.
Everyone reading these posts on social media and watching all the news, please keep in mind that God is always in control. Even through this tragic accident, we have to pay attention to how we feel and the message in this moment. We have to value what we do and what we have because every moment is so precious. We can’t take life for granted and allow anything to keep us from expressing our love to each other. We can’t live passively and not take charge on pursuing our passion because ultimately your passion is to share with the world. You are amazing and what you can do for this world is beyond your imagination, but we have to take a lesson from Kobe. Never waste a day, a moment, or an opportunity and do everything you can to exhaust your effort to become the greatest at what you do. Let his legacy inspire and encourage you to do something you have been afraid to start. May his life be an example... a mold of excellence to lead you through each challenge you have on your journey.
Kobe wasn’t any different from any of us. He had to work extremely hard with what he was given and overtime his hard work and sacrifices helped him accomplish his dreams. His life will forever be shrined because he decided he wanted to be great and did everything he could to be the best God intended him to be.
I pray you find peace in your heart to live your life with love and compassion. I pray you find something positive in this unbelievable moment we are experiencing and use it to fuel your dreams and your drive to never let a day, moment, or opportunities slip through your fingers.
God bless Kobe & Gianna Bryant, John, Keri, & Alyssa Altobelli, Christina Mauser, Sara
