Earlier this week, my college freshman Sadie said she was having trouble sleeping. She said she tossed and turned and was up half the night.
A day later she texted me to say she NEEDED something for sleep. Her insomnia wasn’t getting better and she was desperate for relief.
My kids were all older when I started using Young Living. You know, old enough to think mom was turning into a crazy hippie or something. They’ve come around, but they don’t all reach for oils or supplements when they need something. If this one tells me she needs relief and is willing to try whatever I have, I know it’s bad! 😉
She came over that night and I gave her a whole slew of things with different options. I explained that it might be a few nights of trial and error until she found something that worked for her.
She called me yesterday and said she slept GREAT! #missionaccomplished
She diffused lavender and cedarwood together, both oils have calming properties. Then she took 2 SleepEssence softgels, which have several oils with unique sleep-enhancing properties as well as natural melatonin. She also sprayed her sheets with some Linen Spray with relaxing oils.
I’m so thankful that we were able to find something so quickly that helped her get some rest. Not getting good quality sleep can effect your immune system and y’all, no college kid has time to be getting sick!
PS How about those fun socks?! My sister gave them to me for Christmas. She knows me well. #napsaremyfavorite
