Unconditional love is stillness.
It’s us in this moment, whatever that is. Fully embracing and accepting whatever that is.
Learning to be with ourselves in stillness is us actively expanding our tolerance for unconditional love.
Nobody else, just us.
What do we do to remove ourselves from stillness?
Do we stay perpetually busy in social connections to distract ourselves from ourselves?
Do we overwork ourselves and never slow down?
Do we jump from relationships?
Do we distract ourselves with mindless social media and technology?
Do we continuously do shit?
What do we do to avoid our stillness?
What do we do to avoid the experience that is trying to come through us in every moment?
This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do anything, this just means our ability to be in our experience, to be with it, without distraction, is our commitment to truly loving ourselves.
There is no greater act of self-love than allowing yourself freedom to be in your experience as it comes. To be in the stillness of that experience.
But we all build up armour to avoid feeling the reality of our internal worlds.
But us expanding our tolerance to be with the internal world, is us actively expanding our capacity to love.
Sitting in this reality, simply you and your stillness, is you actively expanding your tolerance for unconditional, true love.
As kids, what we want the most is to be accepted in our experience, whatever that might be.
We just want a place to be accepted in our experiences as they arise.
But we build up a multitude of armour mechanisms to avoid our stillness.
We armour ourselves in ways that the stillness can make us feel so uncomfortable.
An uncomfortable body is a body crying out for help.
Asking you to be with it.
To love it.
To bring yourself back to your breath.
A body asking you to come back home to it.
All the answers we ever need live in our body.
This is why – we can’t trust ourselves if we don’t know how to live in our bodies.
We’re disconnected from the GOD FORCE within.
Every answer we ever need is inside of us already, we just have to tap in.
