Zoom in for the 🐦
Despite constantly going through the same mundane routines, it never ceases to amaze me how much cool stuff happens around us on a daily basis. Pictured is an old man feeding the birds as the sun was setting in Ueno Park. He stood in complete silence while as many as 20+ tiny birds flew to and from his hand. The crowd of birds eventually dispersed as he was running low on feed until only one remained. It was at this moment that I snapped my photo. From there, he let out a brief sigh, coyly tucked his hands into his jacket pockets, and slowly walked off without a word.
As I’ve come to learn, training my eyes is only part one. Having the technical capacity to consistently capture these moments is an entirely different skillset.
